Dan G. Watson
is Senior Partner, Mergers and Aquisitions. Previously he
was a Director of New Platform Development (compliant performance polymers
for coatings,
graphic
arts, textile and adhesive applications) with Eastman Kodak and Eastman
Chemical Company and an Asia/Pacific Regional Director for Rohm and Haas
Company. With
over 35 years of industrial and international business experience, Mr.
Watson has extensive experience in the development of critical global
growth strategies
involving technology development, sales & marketing, distribution,
licensing, mergers & acquisitions, spin offs, joint ventures, alliances
and their resulting integration objectives. His technical background
includes: Chemicals, Polymers, Plastics, Electronics and Pharmaceuticals. He
has consulted with numerous U.S. and foreign-based companies in the successful
development of highly focused
organic growth and expansion including merger and acquisition planning
and acquisition integration strategies.
Mr. Watson has lived or worked in more than 30 countries with a heavy focus
in the Asia/Pacific and European regions. While a member of the management
team at Eastman Chemical Company, he spearheaded the development of a new technology
and marketing platform as well as the development of novel technology products. He
formed and led the acquisition strategy to support Eastman’s efforts to
enter new value chain positions, new markets and new geographies.
He is an instructor in the “Successful Acquisition Integration” course
offered by the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA.
